The Believer // Zeroville by Steve Erickson
The first two paragraphs of my review are online here. It's a beautiful novel.
"If there’s a surrealist quality to his fiction, it’s likely because Erickson recognizes as well as any artist working today the surrealist quality of our real world."

Zeroville is a great book. One of Erickson's best.
I recently conducted an in depth interview with Erickson for chuckpalahniuk.net. Check it out.

Aargh - damn hard copy isn't out yet around here so I can't read your wisdom.
I loved this book though and the interview link? Fantastic job.
Nice review in The Believer, Andrew. Based on your and Blake Butler's praise I picked up Zeroville. Can't wait to read it. Thanks for getting the word out about it.
