Fiction International // "Yin & Yang"

The 2006 issue of Fiction International includes the short story "Yin & Yang," which I co-wrote with my friend & former professor Ricardo Cortez Cruz. It's about two musical visionaries, Anton von Webern and Jam Master Jay.

Ricardo Cortez Cruz is the author of Straight Outta Compton (FC2, 1992) and Five Days of Bleeding (FC2/Black Ice, 1995). His work has appeared in The Kenyon Review, The Iowa Review, Postmodern Culture, and African American Review.

(Update: I've just learned that Fiction International will publish another story of mine in the 2007 issue.)
